The place where I am standing is the "Ba Lang" bridge at Phu Quoi market in Vinh Long province. This is a scene that has been with me for nearly 30 years. I took this photo on a late afternoon on the 15th day of the 6th lunar month, when the workers finished work and returned home after a day of work. I chose this photo to enter the contest with the theme "Happy Vietnam 2025" because this is where my loved ones, my friends, and my childhood memories, the days I went to school. Now that I am an adult, no matter where I go, every time I return, I feel nostalgic and fond of my homeland.
