Nghe An Citadel, also known as Vinh Citadel, is the name of an ancient citadel built during the Nguyen Dynasty in Vietnamese history, located in Vinh city, Nghe An province today. Currently, this ancient citadel still has the remains of 3 gates: Tien Mon (in Cua Nam ward), Ta Mon (in Quang Trung ward), Huu Mon (in Quang Trung ward) and some sections of the moat. Nghe An Citadel was ranked as a National Historical Relic by the Vietnamese government in 1998.
